Grew out of 'keeping it real'; the affirming 'you're so real for that' form spread on TikTok around 2021.

How it’s used

  • “Naps after school should be required. You’re so real for that.” Strongly agreeing and validating a friend. Warm and bonding.
  • “That’s so real, I feel the exact same way.” Relating hard to what someone said. Feeling understood.
